The Little Chamber is finished.

This is my Little Chamber. It is recorded that this room was possibly rented by a certain Sir James Creichton of Fiendraucht, Kt.

The little seat pads were created by my sister Valerie and a copy of the original design in the 1:1 building.

The painting is by a Dutch artist, Anthony Claesz (1592 - 1635). Unfortunately I couldn't find the exact painting that is hung in the 1:1 building but it's by the same artist. The other painting  is by another Dutch artist (unknown) and of the same period.

You always make me lots of compliments but they are undeserved, and I realize that just by looking at the quality of your work, the elegance and simplicity of this one room: I have a lot to learn! I love, simply love beautiful things and you :-)

  10. Thank you so much everyone for your positive comments. Given that there's not a lot in this room it took me longer to complete than I expected but I have to say, I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. The sun shining on the day the picture was taken was, for Edinburgh, a big bonus!

The next room is The Painted Chamber. If you click on the inspirational building on the right and scoot down, you'll see what I'll be trying to achieve.

    Thank you all once again.
