Well, there's not been much progress with the panelling in The Green Room but that's because I've been making a little chair.
They're marvellous little kits and very straightforward to put together, added to that the great feeling of satisfaction when it's complete.
I changed the fabric from that which was supplied as the green fits in better with my overall look.
There's a desk to be done next!
Wow, that is gorgeous. I love it and the green fabric looks very authentic. Can't wait to see the desk now :0)

I'm a great fan of MiniMundus and the now defunct House of Miniatures kits. I used many of them in my Scottish Baronial mansion and they always turned out beautifully.
ReplyDeleteReally well designed kits.

Hello Irene, this post comes about, because I have to start building a lot of kit for the Georgian house, including this beautiful chair :-)
ReplyDeleteMy version, however, is "House of Miniatures."
Could you briefly describe the procedure that you used, for example: you've painted the individual pieces before or after assembly, you used that type of finish (stain, primer, acrylic ...)
The result, however, is fabulous, I love the finish that you got: satin and warm ...
I love the Green Room :-)
Mini hugs, dear friend,

Oh this chair looks great - and so good to find authentic styles in kit form so you get that sense of achievement too. The fabric will be perfect too I'm sure. Judith x
