Playing with the pencils......

Work is progressing well with the Painted Chamber but I can't fix the walls until I get my fire delivered so in the meantime I've been creating stone walls.   These walls have been sitting there for the past week waiting on the next step but it's taken until today (and a nudge from my sister!) to get down to doing the actual wall decoration on them.   The reason?   I was scared - lol.

I'd done a dummy run on graph paper and that worked fine but the thought of actually starting on the real thing really scared me.   Anyway, this is what I've been doing today.   It still needs a little bit of work and a dab or two of paint but hopefully (now that I've overcome the fear) I should get these walls in place some time next week.

You can see what the original looks like here: The Painted Chamber

  4. OMG! but you will do the same room, like the link? extraordinary! You know even paint? Lucky you, I do not know to keep the brush in my hand ...
sometimes it happens to be afraid to jump into the void, and fear of ruining all the work done up to now .. but sometimes you have to throw! just so you can see how far you can get ... courage, everything will go wonderfully!
    I embrace you, Caterina
